Coastal Path Access

Coastal Path Access

Proposals by Natural England for the improved access to the coast between Highcliffe and Calshot were received by the Secretary of State on 14 March 2018. Their aim is to provide a continuous walking route around the country’s coastline, and these proposals form part of that aim.

The public are encouraged to take part in this consultation on the proposals, which can be found on the following link –

The consultation period ends at midnight on Wednesday 9th May 2018.

The Town Council’s Planning Committee will be discussing the matter at their scheduled meeting Thursday 26 April.
